I acquired my first cocker in
1983, a pretty black bitch I found in the
newspaper ads. I enjoyed her so
much, I ended up getting a buff bitch and
dog. I quickly became friends with
the breeder of my buff dog. She
showed her dogs in AKC conformation shows.
It took her around a year to
convince me to enter a show! The first 6
months I was so nervous in the ring I would tell
everyone "Please don't ask me my name, I'm too
busy remembering to breathe". After
awhile, I realized that the judges were
people just like us, doing their job of giving
their opinion of the dogs in the ring on that given day.
After that I was hooked!
I breed as close to the breed
standard as I can, with temperament being 1st, conformation
next. A beautiful dog
with a bad attitude doesn't
stay here for long! The one thing that is important to me is that the puppies
that I place in pet homes are just as sane and beautiful as
the puppies I place in show homes. My puppies
are born and raised in my dining room, getting constant attention. They get
used to many different people, kids, and cats.
I am also very lucky, my husband is a vet! My puppies get excellent
health care. I also do all the required health testing.
Please go through my pages and I
hope you enjoy my dogs as much as I do.
